How do I get the aroura ticket in japanese emerald through pkhex? Do I need to just add it into my back or is there a check or something i also need to activate?

Key items do not unlock the feature, you have to toggle event flags.

Open save in PKHeX, navigate to Event Flags, and open it.


Defeated Deoxys - Unchecked
Captured Dexoys - Unchecked
Don't spawn triangle on Birth Island - Unchecked
Received Aurora Ticket from Mystery Gift - Checked
Shown Aurora Ticket - Checked
Can Travel to Birth Island - Checked
Mystery Gift - Checked

Try these. I believe you'll need to be in post game (defeated Elite 4, can travel on S.S. Tidal)

Note that Aurora Ticket isn't currently released on Japanese Emerald, so your capture will be flagged illegal.
