Keep tracks of shiny pokemons?

Would it be technically possible for PKHeX to "scan" or keep a tracks in some ways for the shiny pokemons currently available in the overworld?
I.E. having a list with pokemon currently saved on the map and their location.

PKHeX already provides a list of stashed Shinies in the "Other" tab.

ah I have none then, that's why I thought that feature wasn't a thing.
