DefeatOf13 Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Hi everyone, I recently found my old copy of Pokémon Ultrasun from 2018, when i tried to load it on my 3DS system a "Saves data are corrupted" error shows up and the only thing i can do is restarting my save file losing all my Pokémons. I can't remember what have i done to mess this up (except using Twitch bots like mitsuki.tv) and i'm looking for help. Afaik the save file can be opened on PkHex, PKSM and emulators (i tried with Azahar). Ty everyone, i hope this one is fixable MAIN

When you use the save manager to restore the save into the 3DS, make sure it's named "main" (with no extensions) in the folder, and there's nothing else in the folder. Also keep a back up of what you have in the SD card, just in case.
DefeatOf13 Posted September 11 Author Posted September 11 Try saving once in PKHeX. What do you mean with that? Going to File > Export SAV? When you use the save manager to restore the save into the 3DS, make sure it's named "main" (with no extensions) in the folder, and there's nothing else in the folder. That's what i am doing, i use Checkpoint for dumps/restores save files and my setup is 3ds/checkpoint/saves/0x01B50 Pokémon Ultra Sun/NameOfTheSave/main (with no extensions) I also tried removing/legalizing some of the illegal Pokémon, but that doesn't work either.
Kaphotics Posted September 11 Posted September 11 1. Your uploaded file is "MAIN", not "main". Do not rename save game files, as the game wants that specific file, and nothing else it doesn't expect. If you have uploaded to your save container on the console/cart an unrelated file, then the game will treat your data as corrupt. Delete your save data on your hardware, and start a new game. Then import "main" to overwrite the new file.
