So, when I was a kid, I didn't have any kind of Action Replay or game altering devices. I don't really remember how it happened, but I had Diamond version. I beat the game normally and thought that was it. This was also around the time, in my life, where I wasn't an online gamer, nor did I attend any events. I was kinda in my own little world. I remember specifically seeing this green clothed dude next to the pokemon center, inside (next to Nurse Joy counter on the left). I talked to him and he gave me the Azure Flute. I had no clue what it was, but I just stashed it in the bag and went on my way. I then heard from my cousin, an online gamer and kept up with events to a degree, that that was an item that would allow you to get the God of all pokemon. I just needed to go to the Mountain. I didn't actually believe him and it would take time before I actually went, but I ended up getting to the Hall of Origin, where I fought and caught Arceus. Had no clue he was actually in the game. Now, I keep seeing that it's an illegitimate pokemon, due to not being included in the game (mostly the Azure Flute), but it doesn't make any sense how it would have gotten there in the first place. I remember the event going something like this: You enter the main portion of Mt. Coronet, where you can fight and capture Dialga / Palkia. After beating game, I went up there. I spawned in and my character just stopped. the light flikered a bit and then a yellow / gold staircase rose up into the sky. Like, the game literally soomed out to non-visible and I was just in the sky. Then there was a platform where in the center top of this gold, almost transparent platform, Arceus was there waiting for me. It gave a cry, and then we started fighting. I remember specifically throwing every ball I had at it, too. I wasn't that prepared, but I threw everything I had at it. I remember specifically running out of ultra balls.

Note: This specific Arceus came from Unova because it was traded to Black an white, then to Pokemon Bank, then to Home, then finally to my Scarlet version. I've also included a picture of the Arceus today.

If there are any more details needed to help, please let me know how I can help. The situation is really important to me. I don't compete or participate in tournaments, but it's more of a personal experience thing for me. Thank you for your time.

Azure Flute was never distributed to Gen4. There was no way to legitimately obtain the item. Receiving hacked mystery gifts is possible if someone else has the flashcard to run the distribution ROM.

Gen5 Dream World did distribute a catchable Arceus, as evident by the Dream Ball in your screenshot. Dream Ball did not exist in Gen4, therefore that is not the same Arceus you've claimed to have acquired legitimately in Gen4.

You're likely misremembering. Verify the trainer ID against your save files.

Moving a Pokémon into BW does not change the origin game to BW. It wouldn't be one you caught in gen 4. It's probably a wildly illegal Pokemon you got somewhere else.

I was thinking that, but I have a really good memory. I remember those events vividly because it was so strange. I'll definitely look into the trainer OT and ID. I don't have the cartridges on me, but I'll do what I can. Thank you

That does make sense. But I didn't use the GTS much and I remember catching it myself. That's what confuses me.

I don't have the cartridges, but I have these pokemon that I found, so far. Would this help?

That's what is confusing me, because I swear on everything, I remember catching this in Sinnoh... It even has the same OT name. I genuinely don't know what else I can provide to help ( I don't want to sound like a "Source: Trust me bro"... I'm sorry if it seems like that)

I don’t want to be a broken record, but Dream Ball and Switch's HOME reporting first met as Unova? Sounds like the Arceus distributed via the Dream world.

What you should do, is use the mobile version of HOME, and view the summary of said Arceus, then scroll all the way down, then check the "First Met" (Met location) of the Arceus, then report back to us.

Example:

Human memory isn’t infallible. Maybe you’ve watched a YouTube video of someone with an injected fake wonder card, and thought to yourself “oh yeah, this sounds familiar”.
And the nostalgia would have been partly true too: you probably did redeem other gifts from the delivery guy, just not the Azure flute, as that wasn’t distributed.

Or maybe you have a friend which modified a distribution ROM, and distributed the fake event to you, which was why you remembered the steps taken. You’ve just forgotten how you’ve obtained the event. [tho that wouldn’t really explain that it seems to have Gen 5 origin for everything]

(Also for the record, the delivery man isn’t next to Nurse Joy in Gen 4, they’re next to the poke mart counter)

OR maybe your cart is fake and you’ve ended up playing a ROM hack. Try transferring something up legitimately..

There’s many possible explanations here. Whichever the case is, your story doesn’t match the Arceus you’ve shown us..

I've attached the picture from my home, as requested... I don't know how to explain that. I remember the event vividly, experiencing the event as a kid.. But maybe you're all right... and I'm really sorry for wasting anyone's time... I really want to dig up the cartriges but I'm so demoralized by all of this, I don't want to be a bother... Thank you everyone for taking me at least somewhat seriously. It's been helpful. Id ask if I could share screenshots of the pokedex in both diamond and black of the pokedex entries in both games, but again.. Maybe I'm wrong in all of this... I don't remember that event at all in Black and white. Again, I'm sorry for any time wasted...

Hey no worries, just doing an investigation.

I too don’t really remember the Arceus DW event, even tho it’s one of the first few I finally got to legitimately obtain so I should have remembered. I think it went a little bit like this: you’ve had to key in a password into Pokemon Global Link, then Game Sync (send a Mon into Dream World), and when it comes back, it’ll bring the Arceus into Entree Forest. Go to the furthest clearing, and interact with the 2D model, and it’ll initiate a “battle”. In reality you just needed to throw a poke ball, any poke ball (it wasn’t limited to Dream Ball).

It ignoring how your triggered the even for now, but if you really had a Gen 4 Arceus, it could very well be stuck in your Gen 4 or Gen 5 games; not every Arceus could go into Bank, if I’m not mistaken.
