GigantamaxSnorlax Posted October 26 Posted October 26 So I recently learned about how PKHeX has the PKHax feature and I've been trying to use it to bring pokemon from Gen8/Gen 9 to my Ultramoon save. I've been having mixed results, for regional versions of Pokemon (Galarian Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres) they were able to be moved from my PKHaX window of Sword/Shield pokemon to the other PKHaX window open with my Ultramoon save, but whenever I try to move over say unique Gen 8 pokemon like Dragapult, Zacian, or Zamazenta, I get an error from PKHaX that reads "Cannot convert a PK8 to PK7. Cannot transfer this format to the requested format." Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or am I really unable to bring Gen 8/Gen 9 Pokemon to my Ultramoon save?
SkyLink98 Posted October 26 Posted October 26 There is no data on Gen 7 games for those species. The conversion can not be made. You shouldn't bring on Gen 7 the Galarian forms either. At best you'll have a glitched Pokémon.
Kaphotics Posted October 30 Posted October 30 You don't need HaX to allow backwards conversion. It can be turned on via settings. But yes, you can't transfer something to a game that it doesn't exist in.
