Users may find a variety of Mass Outbreak Events in our Event Gallery.
Here are some methods users can use to import these events into their save files.

Manual importing with the PKHeX Block Editor:

Spoiler
  1. Download the latest PKHeX Stable release
  2. Import your save file into PKHeX (File -> Open -> select your main file)
  3. If the event files were downloaded from this site's gallery, extract the Zip file. The files that are needed for this tutorial are located in the Files folder.
  4. Follow the Block Editing tutorial to import the event files, mapped as following
    • pokedata_array -> *Object KBCATOutbreakPokeData
    • zone_main_array -> *Object KBCATOutbreakZonesPaldea
    • zone_su1_array -> *Object KBCATOutbreakZonesKitakami
    • zone_su2_array -> *Object KBCATOutbreakZonesBlueberry (if the file is missing, just ignore this entry)
  5. Search for the block *Bool KBCATOutbreakEnabled and change the type to Bool2, if it isn't already.

Importing with Tera Finder:

Spoiler
  1. Dowload the latest Tera Finder Stable release
  2. If you want to use Tera Finder as a PKHeX plugin, place all the DLLs into the plugins folder next to the PKHeX executable (create the folder if not already existing) and run PKHeX, otherwise run the TeraFinder.Launcher executable.
  3. Import your save file into the program (either by drag & drop, or by clicking the Load Save File button)
  4. Import the event into the save file:
    • If you have the Event ZIP file downloaded from this site's gallery, drag & drop the ZIP file into Tera Finder (or into PKHeX if using Tera Finder as PKHeX Plugin).
    • If you have extracted files (either from extracting the ZIP or from downloading the files from our GitHub gallery), click on Import Poké Portal News, select the folder containing the Identifier.txt file and click Open.
  5. Export your save file, you can now restore it with any save manager.

Importing with PKHeX Plugin Pile:

Spoiler

Disclaimer: the following Plugin is not developed by us, if you have any question or need some help with it, please use the foohyfooh's post.

  1. Download the latest Plugin Pile release
  2. Place the DLLs into the plugins folder next to the PKHeX exectuable (create the folder if it's not already existing)
  3. If the event files were downloaded from this site's gallery, extract the Zip file
  4. Run PKHeX and import your save file (either by drag & drop or click on File -> Open)
  5. Click on Tools -> Import Outbreak -> select the folder containing the Identifier.txt file and click Open.
  6. Export your save file, you can now restore it with any save manager.

After importing users may need to advance one day from the console System Settings, to reroll the outbreaks.

When was the event released VS what’s the update date of the version of PKHeX you’re using?

Good Morning, when trying to do this, the identifier.txt file is not located in a specific folder, but rather in the root of the downloaded zip file. So as one does, I tried to move into one of the folders available which were - Files or JSON. When trying to import with the txt file in either folder I get an error and it does not work. Any advice on what is potentially wrong?

You should not move the files. In your case, the folder the identifier.txt files is on is 008 Pokemon Day Outbreaks. So, just select that, or double click the Identifier.txt file, and you'll get it working.
