"Invalid file." Error Message When I Import My .sav File In "Mystery Gift Tool 0.1f by Sabresite"

I would like to be able to inject the Eon Ticket event for Pokémon Sapphire on my emulator. I'm using this program I found on this website however whenever I try to import my save file a pop-up reading "Invalid file." is brought to my attention. I request help from the experts as I am not very knowledgeable. I've uploaded my save file as well as a picture of the program I use with the error message.

Right and how exactly would I achieve this? Also, follow up question, would that affect my data regarding it being able to be played on my emulator (I use MGBA) (Sorry if it's difficult to understand what I'm saying I struggle putting my thoughts into words)?

You would have to open your save with an hex editor like HxD, then remove the last 16 bytes from the file. It shouldn't affect your data in any way.

Alternatively use PKHeX and the WC3 Plugin instead.

Hello, I'm getting the same error but I'm using an official copy of emerald. Any thoughts on what I could do?
