Arde Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 I had this legal snorlax (originated from Pokemon XD "not really mine") transferred from SWSH Home to PLA then transferred back to SWSH using Pokemon Home, traded it to a sysbot so i can add a twinkling star ribbon. however when i try to trade it back to my SWSH using Sysbot on discord, It says i can't trade it because the PK8 attachment is not legal, and cannot be traded!, tried to remove twinkling star ribbon and Hisui ribbon, and still giving me the same error. can anyone help? Note: Did not do anything on this pokemon aside from just adding the twinkling star ribbon. With 0143 - Snorlax - 7537AE1754C4.pk8Fetching info...
theSLAYER Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 PKHeX isn’t fully updated to deal with old transfers. Even then, if you didn’t receive an XD Mon in SWSH, transferring it back from SV would yield an illegal Pokémon, due to data being missing and it not having a proper HOME Tracker.

theSLAYER Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 Get someone to actually transfer the mon into HOME. This way it'll have a HOME tracker. After that, you can use PKHeX to convert the PK8 into a PK9 for usage in SV.

Expand actually i dont intend to transfer the mon to SV, it did already get transfered to home when i have the mon on swsh to pla then back to swsh again. i just wish for it to be returned to my swsh game
Kaphotics Posted June 6, 2023 Posted June 6, 2023 This isn't an issue with PKHeX. If it shows as legal in PKHeX, and a bot won't allow it to be traded, then the bot is either out of date or has added extra restrictions unrelated to PKHeX.
