If i move a pokemon caught from a Violet save to a Scarlet save will it be listed as a trade or be illegal?

Hello,

If I for example click and drag a pokemon caught in my Violet and drop it to a Scarlet save, will it be listed as a pokemon that has been traded? and be ok? Or does this list it as illegal?

Or do I have to edit those details (if possible) myself?

PKHeX will generally simulate official transfer methods, so it should simulate a trade.

No editing necessary, I've dragged and dropped between versions in the same generation plenty of times, and it gets treated just like an actual in-game trade. If you're doing Pal Park (or whatever the inter-generation transfer method is called for the newer ones), you'll need to edit the met location.
