Bad eggs in Legends Arceus when having illegal values

After creating an illegal Pokemon, if you log in to the game,
That Pokemon is turned into an egg.
Is it like this originally?

If a Pokemon is too illegal, the game forces it into an egg.
Happens when you hacked in a move and/or a species doesn't exist in PLA.

In any case, not a PKHeX error and definitely happened due to the user.

I sincerely this isn't an issue, and it is very likely you misremembered the edit you did last time.

But yes, there is a major update to Legend Arceus somewhat recently, so there's a chance that changed, but I largely doubt it is that.

What edit did you do?

Changed the ability and move.

It was possible in the previous sword version.
I once made a Pikachu ability of Levitate.

pkhex Instead, it was possible by using pkhax

So you were talking about Sword.

Sword hasn't had a version update recently.
Also, unused moves and species show up fine in Sword; for unused species, the Pokemon model will show up as Pikachu but the summary shows up there.

In any case, it sounds like you did any other update.

You should update the mon here, but in any case it sounds like a error on your part regardless. You should not expect to illegal mons to work properly in-game.

I didn't edit Pokemon for battle.
I just wanted to make my favorite Pokemon stronger in this single story.
When I play games, I play games without online access.

And I was just wondering why it turned into an egg.

The game turns things into eggs that are blatantly illegal.

If PKHeX said it was illegal, and the game egged it, then what is the issue?

If the game forces it into an egg, then no.
It is game enforced behaviour; PKHeX is a sav editor, can't edit the game.

Maybe try making your mons less illegal. (or just not illegal at all).

I tried both methods, but even if I use pkhax after 1.1.1 update, If there is any illegality, it doesn't seem to apply.

How bout just only use legal Pokémon?

That's what I'm doing.
But I had to match the level of Pokemon when it appeared.
I can't use it right now.

If you only change the level of the Pokemon you own it would still be legal.

(I guess the only issue would be whether the game imposes limits on whether the mon would obey you)

Alternatively you could just hack in a bunch of max revives and potions.
