inkuii Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 I noticed that pkhex has the capability to import cgear skins from png's, however every time I import a custom skin I made, it seems to glitch out and do a weird, super desaturated version of the artwork. I tried it with one of the nintendo skins and had pkhex export it as a png, and then imported it back in, and it still has this problem. Send help? I do plan on releasing the skin once I'm done and find a way to get it to display properly. Used Meadow Munna for the test skin.
theSLAYER Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Maybe your skin is too complex, maybe there’s too many colours?

I already adjusted the gradients and whatnot so there's less than 16 colors in the image, as well as making sure that there were enough tiles for the program to work with. Even after all those adjustments, that was the result I ended up with. I even tried with just a solid red background, and I got similar results.
theSLAYER Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Try PokeStock (we have it in the downloads area on our site) If the issue doesn't persist, maybe we can get Kaph in on this.
inkuii Posted June 17, 2020 Author Posted June 17, 2020 I looked for the downloads for pokestock, but for some reason, the downloads for the english version of pokestock's cgear editors are unavailable? I clicked on the links in the post, and it gives me a site error.

inkuii Posted June 18, 2020 Author Posted June 18, 2020 @BlackShark Ah thank you! I didn't realize that you had to click on the file download section to be able to download the program! I imported my image into the program as a png and exported it as a c gear file, and it worked beautifully! Now for my last question, what would be the appropriate place to showcase my custom skins and provide downloads? I think I'll be making quite a few, and would like them all in one place!
