Pokemon sword save convert in shild save problem

Hi everyone, as the title suggests I modified my pokemon sword rescue in order to continue the adventure in pokemon shield, and everything worked ... until I got to the ghost-type gym and ... I found that fight type ... I say "strange, oh well" and I go on and everything works ... but when I got to what was supposed to be the ice gym and I found that rock I crashed the game, as soon as I entered the gym ... I don't really know what to do, can you help me?

games are probably better protected against cross-save as it was in gen 5 and lower

The event flags that causes the gyms to appears and the story flags are not well understood, and undocumented.

What you can do is: plop your save back in Sword, then defeat the entire story, then continue in shield.

These freezes would occur along the lines where the opposite character is called, such as (but not limited to)
Fighting/Ghost Gym Battle
Ice/Rock Gym Battle
Fighting/Ghost Gym & Stop Raging Dynamaxed Mon
Ice/Rock Gym & Stop Raging Dynamaxed Mon
Any dialogue/battle that involves Sordward and Shielbert.

 

Honestly, too much of this occurs across the entire story. Once you're past the entire story, you should be fine,
but for now place your save back into Sword.

Hiii we have the same problem, I'm currently playing Sword right now and in the fifth gym is not the fighting type but the ghost, is there any more or updated fix for this?

AFAIK it’s (still) as per what I said in the comment above yours: the flags are not known. Hence what I said still applies: place your save back into the original version, complete all story beats, then switch the version.

Ok sir thankss, I still want to play Pokemon Sword than Shield so maybe If I can get a Pokemon Sword save file before choosing starter pokemon maybe it will fix everything like exclusive gym leaders etc?. Cause in the emulator that I am currently using right now pokemon sword is bugging like at the beginning of the game after placing my name it will not continue and forever white screen that's why I decided to download another save file but I didn't see it earlier that it is a save from shield not sword.

Play the game first on your legally owned console and cart, then move the save to the emulator once you’ve selected a starter.
