Hi, I wanna know if I can actually fully reset events somehow? For example: I can check Blacephalon being in Pony Canyon, but the Recon Squad isn't there and the whole sequence isn't there. With Poipole, I can check off that I received it, but the whole story with the Ultra peeps and the overworld Poipole isn't there.

Is there a way to properly reverse the game to that state?

Yeah, import the entire event flags segment of the save.

Uhm, how do I do that, exactly? It's kind of difficult to google for these specifics, so I haven't found instructions on this yet. Can you summarize? Sorry for the inconvenience.

1. Get a save that is before completing that in-game event

2. Copy the events block from the donor save to your own save via hex editor. Make sure you keep a copy of your save that’s unedited.

3. Save in PKHeX to fix checksums.

4. Redo the story event as intended

5. Now reimport the event block from your save backup, then save in PKHeX.

Thank you! Sounds a bit complicated for a novice like me, but I'll see if I can make it work :)

Sorry to reply again, but just to be sure, I have to do this with an external hex editor, not within PkHex, right?

If I'm not mistaken, this is where you can find the offset and size of blocks (from PKHeX github)

Yes, you use hexeditor to import/export the blocks. Only use PKHeX to fix the checksums after you're done editing.

edit: Do you have a donor save and your present save.
I could just do one for you, in case you tried and failed.
