Dark_Ansem Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 While some crash the editor if one tries to change PID, I would argue that up to Gen7 mons transferred to Gen8 they always display square shiny.
theSLAYER Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 HOME doesn’t change their PID. Square shinies can happen too, just not as likely. One exception is, any mon with the fateful encounter would display square shiny, even if their PID isn’t. 1
Dark_Ansem Posted February 16, 2020 Author Posted February 16, 2020 That's what I meant to know, thanks!
btman Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Hello! I found a way to do it for any pokemon. Go on PID value with the mouse and stop, a label will pop-up. The label is the one I show in yellow. You have the PSV value, you can ignore it. Inside the red square you have the Xor valure = 0, if it is= 0 so will always display shiny square in sword shield. If is not = 0. Do Reroll and than press the star for shiny, or you can adjust the value, for example if Xor=4, and PID = DA3C2844, so write inside PID the value: DA3C2840 (in hex you did -4). After that check it again if you have Xor=0 in the label. If you are not practical with hex enumeration or you are lost, just reroll and try again. Cheers! 1
Dark_Ansem Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Thanks Batman, but I wasn't complaining. Just pointing it out.
