Daimoshkaahl Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 sry for my bad english ... ^^ I downloaded the new version today. 20.01.26 Created a nice Pokemon again, but after saving the savefile it is suddenly too big and I can no longer edit it ... need fix it !!
theSLAYER Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 I'm guessing you did block editing. I've already reported the issue, in relation to block editing. editing my mons or items (ignoring block editing) doesn't seem to trigger it.
Kaphotics Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 ty hotfixed, redownload the zip https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/1ba271db50b885e45d60005ce51f552ef606c280 1
nicosop Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 (edited) I've the same problem and I downloaded the new file a few minutes ago. Edited January 26, 2020 by nicosop

Are you sure you're using the new PKHeX file? The new PKHeX file fixed importing blocks for me (and thus able to open the save.) Consider clearing the cache of your browser, before you perform the redownload.

I'm editing the "main" file of Pokemon Sword. I can't understand how to resolve this issue.

Yes I figured you were editing Pokemon Sword, but no that was not what was I asking. To be more clear: Editing Pokemon itself? Editing Items? Importing Blocks? What were you editing? Anyway, you won't be able to "fix" the file it it's already corrupt. (ie the too big file) you gotta restart your edits on a copy of the file that isn't corrupt, then let us know if you're able to reopen the file after you save it.

nicosop Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I only thought that i solved, but the issue's continuing to appear. It's very annoying. What can I do?
nicosop Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I want to understand why my file's corrupted. I can't do anything in my game now
Kaphotics Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 You were told to restore your backup save, and re-download the program. The corrupted save can't be recovered. 1

theSLAYER Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Take a copy of “backup”, then rename the copy of “backup” to “main. then use checkpoint to restore the save folder.

theSLAYER Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Upload the backup file for us to see. Also redownload PKHeX.
nicosop Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I've tried to open backup file 3 minutes ago, theSLAYER said: Upload the backup file for us to see. Also redownload PKHeX.

Also, you didn't send it, when I told you to upload the file. In any case, if the backup and main cannot be opened (assumingly you edited it and they ended up corrupted), then use a different backup.

And which backup do I have to use? Can I use the backup in the "bak" folder?

theSLAYER Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 the main is fine. You can restore it back into your game, since the main is fine. Make a copy of main, rename it to backup, then place all of them into the folder on checkpoint.
nicosop Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I’ve copied main file to the folder and I renamed it into “backup”; I’ve copied main file too, I restored with Checkpoint, but it still doesn’t work Spoiler 25 minutes ago, theSLAYER said: the main is fine.
