IIRC, the Nintendo HK one wasn't tradable at all, either. Don't know about the Summer'15 one, though.

It was the SG Summer'15 one that couldn't be traded at all in gen 6. (It can in gen 7, but it changes OT to "Sun.")

but like i mentioned before, the shiny japanese ho-oh in the pokemon data mystery gift data base is also unable to be traded

I'll like to point out I've been unable to trade any Ho-oh from FRLG and E.

Just tried it, when I know I have traded the same rayquaza plenty of times...it doesnt work. It must be something that they have recently done
