Question about the markings section

There's a marking I don't recognize in PkHex that I don't think was there before -- the little circle with what I think is a G in it, next to the gameboy symbol and right above the diamond.

I figured this would be the place to ask in case I run across something with this mark in the future.

When the origin game is Pokémon Go, the origin symbol will be that instead of a pentagon/plus/gb.

Really? That's interesting. So this means we'll eventually be able to transfer from Go.

It may or may not be a transfer situation.
Could be a gimmick.
