YumeMaboroshi Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) Such as: If I load GS Japanese save file, PKHeX always says checksum invalid, even the save file is untouched, but still can edit and save. If I load C Japanese save file, PKHeX always says checksum invalid, even the save file is untouched, but when I edit, save and back to the game, the game says the save data is broken. Solution: I fixed these issues with hex editor, just download these attachments and enjoy! But if these files can not edit GSC US save file as well, I don't know how to fix that, since I haven't play US version yet. (sorry for my poor English, if this topic can not post here, please delete...) Edit: upload new version. theSLAYER Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Erm, that's because it doesn't have proper gen 2 japanese documentation. Help regarding it was recently requested:
YumeMaboroshi Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) Thanks for your reply, I already post a reply there, the Gen II.txt in the attachment will be useful. But I can still upload my modified SAV2.cs file here to help the PKHeX team. SAV2.cs Edited February 25, 2017 by YumeMaboroshi
Kaphotics Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Thanks; I've updated the program with a simplified method for calculating the checksum, and incorporated the offsets as you've listed 2
YumeMaboroshi Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) I find another issue in SAV2, see the picture below. Both top (20170207) and bottom (20170225) load the same save file, but the value of money on 20170225 is wrong. Edited February 26, 2017 by YumeMaboroshi
YumeMaboroshi Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 Nobody knows about this? Please see the picture below. But PKHeX (20170207) works fine without this issue.
