Using PKHeX.Core with PKMN NTR?

Hey! A few days ago I downloaded Pkhex files and the PKHeX.Core extension came along with it. I just downloaded the new PKMN NTR update too, and it seems that you can use the extension with PKMN NTR. My question is: how? Or how does it work exactly?

PKHeX.Core.dll is a code library that can be referenced by other applications (like PKHeX.exe) to extend their functionality.  It is not a plugin for other applications.
