randomspot555 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Why is Fenzo's site blocked? I mean, he thanks multiple people from PP on his front page. To my knowledge, no other links are censored, so why is his? What I mean is it comes up like this: http://www.********** Compared to: http://www.serebii.net http://www.google.com http://www.pokemonsecure.com EDIT: If for some reason this information is more appropriate via PM then a public post, then those with answers can PM me. I'm just curious.
KyoMcFizzle Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 From what I hear, Fenzo's site was blocked due to a campaign to redirect user traffic away from PP to his site instead.
randomspot555 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Assuming that's true, then why not just treat him like any other user? Give an infract for advertising, say "keep it to your signature" and be done with it? Blocking the link to the site seems a bit excessive.

I was told it was through mass PMing multiple users at once saying they needed "help".
Fallen Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 There is a lot behind our reasoning. SCV can elaborate more on it. Main reasons being that his first news post was mostly fabricated. This really doesn't need to be a big deal; we all know where his site is.
Greencat Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 There is much behind the reason of censoring it, although, it's not hard to just type it in the address. Just ignore it for now.

We did not want to go as far as to ban him though. It would have been justified, however.

I thought the intro was kind of cheesy, but it looked like something Fenzo would write
Varna Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 His first post was fabricated? Where did he take it from? I thought the intro was kind of cheesy, but it looked like something Fenzo would write Fabricated, not plagiarized. It means he lied in it, not that he stole the post from somewhere else.
randomspot555 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 While I'd certainly like to know WHAT was fabricated, it's out of curiousity and nothing more. regardless of that, my question was answered, so....
