VC editing help

Sorry if this was asked before, I'm new here.

I tried searching, with no luck. But my question is, how can I Use PKHEX to edit my save file for gen 1 VC?

I tried to use Save manager like with ORAS, but it crashes when I try it with Blue VC.

Now I need help injecting the file back into the game.

After editing how do I replace the original save from PKHEX?

How you did it? And in which version?

if you're using the correct dumped VC games.

1. Use savedatafiler (or whatever save editor that works for you) to export the saves

2. keep a safe copy of the "main" backup

3. use pkhex to open them. for Gen I VC games I don't think the save size need to be edited.

4. place the edited "main" back in (or save over the previous one)

5. on the 3DS, import back save

6. delete secure value
