Pokemon Y: Restoring Old Save After Having a New Save

Hi, good evening and happy new year. I'm planning to start a new game on my Pokemon Y and I back up it's current save. My question, is it possible to restore this save after I start a new game with a new save without being corrupted? Did I just going to change the secure value if ever? Thank you.

You have to delete the secure value before restoring your save.

What method are you using to manage saves?

Thanks for replying. I'm using Homebrew and Savemanager. Is it okay?

Use svdt instead of save_manager; svdt will update the secure values for you and let you play old saves.
