trainboy2019 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I keep getting this error. I didn't start getting it until now.
Kaphotics Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Seems like you have junk files inside whatever GARC you are trying to repack. Did you modify/rename files inside? Pretty sure whatever tool expects decimal numbered files (0001.xxx), not alpha/etc (testdata123.bin).
trainboy2019 Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 When I decompressed the GARC, it looked like this. I recompressed it and it looks the same.
trainboy2019 Posted December 26, 2015 Author Posted December 26, 2015 The problem was that it decompressed as x.x.darc It compressed if I renamed it to x.darc
Kaphotics Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 The problem was that it decompressed as x.x.darcIt compressed if I renamed it to x.darc Too bad that breaks the repacking to the original state. Assuming you're using GARCTool, that tool is out of date and can't properly handle repacking to bitvector packs (usually language files, think of them as subfolders). Use pk3DS for all your (un)packing needs.
