feature request add a showdown team converter

It would be cool if you could copy and paste showdown teams and directly put em into your boxes because this would be much faster then doing manually

I second this request. I would sooooo love such a functionality. Being able to import showdown / smogon strategy dex builds would be sooo awesome.

@ Kaphotics: if you would consider such a functionality then perhaps peeking into the showdown source code can help It is this github

Actually, the relevant code for exporting mons from Showdown (which is what the end users want -- they're sent over the write to the server in a different format, see fastUnpackTeam in tools.js of the server repo) in js/client-teambuilder.js in the function toText of the Showdown client, which is in a separate repository.
