A Shiny Beldum with Metagrossite will be given out when the RS remakes launch.

The distribution will start on November 21st (28th for Europe), 2014 - January 14th, 2015 via Nintendo Network!

Oh, nice.

When I heard this a few hours ago I first thought they meant the ingame events where you get a Beldum from Steven Stone. But this is also nice.

Though I hope this event is not the only chance to get that Mega Stone.

I guess the post game Beldum you get at his house will also be holding it. Would've been cool if it was the aurora ticket instead, but that's not something to give on launch. Hope it returns in those games (including Navel Rock and Faraway island).

Should note that the name of the Mega Stone is the Metagrossite. It's in both the US and UK press release, but only the UK one is publicly viewable.
