the title pretty much tells you it i tried to do this on pokesav but i dont got windows xp for code manager and ive tried two different codes and they didnt work i couldnt check the wonder card and the delivery man wasnt there

The WC for Oak's Letter will be up on the database in like a week's time; what's the point in these AR codes for this kind of thing.

I'm not sure about how to use Pokesav to generate AR codes, myself... but in the case of Wonder Cards (even homemade ones), personally I think the best way is to integrate it over local wireless using the Deoxys ROM.

Can Pokemon hold key items, though?

i dont think so but its just i had shaymin i meen TRU shaymin legit from event for awhile but then i lost my diamond so now i have platinum and im just trying to figure out wonder cards and half the cheats i type into ARDS take forever and dont work

yes in pokesav a pokemon can hold key items but once u take it away from it, it will be in your key items pocket

There's no point to doing it this way. You'll need to actually activate the code for it to work correctly - you can't just have the item and expect it to work.

You can't just get the oak letter, via pokemon item or code into Key Items.

You need to receive it separately.
