Sylveon will be distributed on specific days and times: Pacific Sogo Zhongxiao branch of Toy Park on January 4, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on January 5 and 19, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Big City branch of Funbox on January 11, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Dream Mall branch of GamePro Asia on January 12, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and the Living Mall branch of Funbox on January 18, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

In Hong Kong it will be distributed on January 18 and 19, 2014 from 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm. For the Hong Kong distribution it will be distributed to English and Japanese language games and it will distributed as part of the 4th Nintendo 3DS Party.

In Hong Kong it will be distributed on January 18 and 19, 2014 from 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm. For the Hong Kong distribution it will be distributed to English and Japanese language games and it will distributed as part of the 4th Nintendo 3DS Party.

FYI, Gen VI games' distributions are actually restricted by the cartridge region, not the language chosen at the start of a new game. So far, all local wireless and IR distributions I've encountered have not been region restricted, but Serial Code and Internet distributions have.

I believe it is possible for local distributions to be restricted, I just haven't seen it yet.

I can comfirm this event was region free as I received it on my Taiwan, Japan and North American 3DS, also it might be worth noting that this was distributed via local wireless.
