Pokegen Zapdos problem

Hi basically when I pokecheck Zapdos it always says Unkown encounter. So I figured I'd put Soulsilver as Origin. Do I need to buy an Action Replay to get the secret id or is there another way to get Zapdos?

iirc, ncounter stuff isn't needed to be valid for battling against friends. If it's able to be uploaded to the GTS (ie, passes the pokemon validation) then it won't break battle videos. Creating 'flawless hacks' is against our site's policy.

Ok, but if I want completely legit pokemon, I NEED action replay?

If you want 'legit' pokemon, you need to catch them in game without cheating.

An Action Replay doesn't help you make legal Pokemon, it's up to you to edit the data to be something that could possibly be found in-game.

Example: A Jirachi can't be found on Route 1.
