awesometeemo Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Hi. I purchased r4i save dongle recently and I have a problem with extracting Pokémon Platinum save file. Other Pokémon series are working just fine. Does anyone have same problem or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance. POKEMON PL..sav
evandixon Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Hmmm... A blank save file. Here's some things to try: -Make sure there's no gunk on the cartridge's contacts -Make sure the cartridge is all the way in the adapter. --If it is, try pulling it out very slightly. Sometimes this helps on my NDS Backup Adapter Plus -Make sure you have the latest software/drivers --If that doesn't work, try a previous version or two if available
awesometeemo Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 Does this matter with language? I forgot to mention that mine is Korean.
awesometeemo Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 Well I tried everything I can do but it doesn't work. Thank you for your replies anyway.
theSLAYER Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 1. Ensure the program you're using is "R4i SaveDongle V1.5" (on V1.5, basically. Can be found on their website) 2. Run the Program on Compatibility > Windows 7 (if you're using Windows 8) Try it out, let us know

I asked about this problem to hkems (R4i-sdhc had never answer my email) and they couldn't figure out the problem. They said there is probably different version of flash inside of Pokemon Platinum Korean version. It's kind of weird that the other series of Pokemon in Korean work just fine. Anyway thank you so much for trying to help me out though.
