theSLAYER
For those using desmume, Try troubleshooting with the following steps:. 1. Save twice in game (at the pokedex /Pokemon/items menu ) 2. Soft reset (press L+R+START+SELECT Or Ctrl R) 3. Don't enter "Continue" 4. Emulator menu, export battery file/save file.
Codr
If someone's using Desmume, there is literally nothing extra that needs to be done once you save in-game...

Why are you using a "battery file" when the .dsv that Desmume produces is usable in PokeGen...? Where do you people come up with this stuff? evandixon
I'm not sure what he meant, but isn't the dsv a battery file? It's in the Battery folder by default.
Codr
I thought that's what Desmume called what's actually called "Export Backup Memory". If the file used was .dsv file, I don't know what fucked it up unless there are bullshit codes being used that do things that shouldn't be done. Hahah Codr, I know it makes no sense at all. But it could be a bug of a older version I'm using back then or something, because those were the exact steps I had to do, or else I won't be able to edit my .sav
