desphos Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Everytime I attempt to Load my .dsv pokemon black 2 File, it says Invalid Safe File. Please help!
desphos Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Desmume. I've tried numerous black 2 roms and it still didnt work.
BlackShark Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Did you download the save file from the internet? I remember there was a similar question two month ago (here). The problem was, that there was some unneeded data in the save file. Maybe there's some unneeded data in your save file too.
desphos Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 I just downloaded the rom. Should I delete the .dsv save file and try it again? Im running on a mac btw.
evandixon Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 When editing, use File -> Export Backup Memory before editing, then File > Import Backup Memory. As for your save, there should be a .bak file with the same name as your save. Rename that to resume your progress on DeSmuMe.
desphos Posted June 8, 2013 Author Posted June 8, 2013 Now it says that the file is corrupted. Can I get a Black 2 rom from you guys, if possible, and the save file along, that works with pokegen?
evandixon Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 We can't give you the ROM. That would be illegal. I'm not sure why your save was corrupted
evandixon Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Could you post a screenshot of the error. If you're using Windows 7 or above, open the start screen/menu and search for the Snipping Tool. Then upload the screenshot file. The option for attachment will be visible if you click "Go Advanced" when replying.
evandixon Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Then how are you using Pokegen which is only supported on Windows?
