According to information posted on these sites, the game will be released on October 1st 2009 in North America. Horray! The date seems to be valid, since it's on a Tuesday. Cool! I'm buying it.

Is that date really right? On Wednseday night I was looking through Amazon to see if they might have preorder for it, and Amazon's saying that its coming out in December 31.

I believe this is actually just the holding date to allow them to accept pre-orders until the true date is revealed
