Gyrudash
I am very new to this PokeGen and downloaded the 3.1.10 version of it but for some reason it won't let me save Pokemon (from tabs). I have tried restarting my computer, re-downloading PokeGen but nothing still seems to help. Please help I am very frustrated!! I know for sure that I make legit Pokemon with all the right stats and the appropriate movesets for it. I have watched many tutorials but none could help me with my saving problem. evandixon
How is it not letting you save? Menu grayed out, error messages, etc.?
Gyrudash
Nothing it just won't save. When it gives me the option to save and when I click on Save it nothing happens and it wont save. But when I save something else, like a document, it works. I don't know why it's not working.
evandixon
Are you sure you're looking in the right place? Perhaps you're saving somewhere that requires admin rights when the program doesn't have any?
Gyrudash
All I did was just make a new folder, but wouldnt let me save it in there. I dont know where to store it. Where do you store your saves?

evandixon
If you right click Pokegen and select "Properties", do you see the following (attached)? If so, press unblock.
Gyrudash
I tried that but it still wont let me.
ReignOfComputer
Probably won't help much but try running the program as Administrator (Right Click > Run as administrator). You're trying to save the Pokemon to a .pkm file, correct?
Gyrudash
Where do I right click at to run as administrator? And yes I've been trying to save my Pokemon to a .pkmn file but won't let me
ReignOfComputer
You right click at the PokeGen.exe executable. Try relocating the entire PokeGen folder as well.

Gyrudash
I relocated the whole folder, ran as administrator, but it still won't let me save. I remember on the first day i downloaded Pokegen, I made myself a Deoxys-D, saved it to tabs then sent it to Pokecheck.org. Then the next day it wouldn't let me save anymore Pokemon. Am I doing something wrong? Is it not letting me save because my Pokemon isn't qualified to be legal?
evandixon
Try saving it to the same folder as Pokegen?

ReignOfComputer
Sounds like an issue with the Operating System then. You could try random stuff like creating a new user account in your computer and seeing if it works there.
