Little confused on how to use this

Hi, I'm new to pokegen. I have watched tutorials but they don't really explain what I am wanting to know.

I have used pokesav in the past but this looks much easier.

So I have downloaded it, first question is how do I upload my savefile? I have action replay, do I need anything else? I guess then all I need to know is how to get it back onto the DS.

1. File -> Open

That is for opening your save file.

2. Hover over boxes, Right Click -> View Data

That is how you view data.

Everything will be displayed on the left side,

Where you can edit the pokemon and stuff.

3. Hover over box, right click -> set.

That is how you "Set" the changes.

Can use it to clone or overwrite existing Pokemon in the slot.

4. Save Pokemon from Tab

Remember when you "View Data" and edited the information?

That Information can be saved as a .pkm file, as you may know from pokesav.

You can open that file to view it in the tab, or simply drag it onto the boxes on the right side.

5. Save and Save as are for your ".SAV files"

Sorry still a bit confused, so how exactly do I put my save game from my ds onto the computer to begin with?

And are you saying I can create a box of pokemon and save it as a .sav then just enter that into action replay?

First, what save file transferring hardware do you have?

Don't think I have any. I have heard of flash cart, is that what I need?

One final question, so using PokeGen can create boxes of pokemon in one sitting, save it and that's pretty much it? Before I had to load them on 6 pokemon at a time which sucked.

Yes, you can change as much as you want at a time.
