UncleKrakken Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I'm pretty new to PokeGen, and for the most part I've had no trouble figuring any of it out between the built-in tool tips and a tutorial or two. But there's one question I have that I haven't seen an answer to, and I'm hoping to find out before I get ahead of myself. If I want to save my creation as a .pkm file and then send it via ir-gts (my only option for getting them onto my game card currently), does it matter whether I save it as a 136-byte PC Pokemon file or a 220-byte Party Pokemon file, or is that an either/or situation? Also, standard or encrypted? Sorry if I've duplicated a question here, but I've been looking for a little while now and have yet to find an answer to this...
evandixon Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 It shouldn't matter, but a 136 byte standard pkm file is probably the best choice.
Delta Blast Burn Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 not encrypted because, I would assume, it will attempt to encrypt upon receiving the pokemon.
