Problems with translation

Hi,

i would like to translate the pokesav platinium into german, but i have some problem with the pokemon names. i'm using Hex-Editor MX to translate the names into german but some of the pokemon names are longer ans then they not showed in the drop-down-menu

example

rattata = ratzfratz

How can i edit them?

Don't type the full name, just leave off the last few letters.

No other Chance? Because i saw in the Pokesav 039 - translatet from Mount Arreat - that he write the full names.

what are the differences between these drop-down-menus?

If was only a couple weeks ago that I even found out you could edit Pokesav like this.

I'm not sure if this helps, but I believe you could open Pokesav in Visual Studio and edit the GUI using the IDE. If you have access to VS (or if the Express edition works that way), maybe that would work better for you.

ok i am testing but did not help because i can't edit the drop-down-menu
