I just made this team today and I know I have 3 sashes. I'm working to fix that. I have one on shuppet, exeggcute, and carvana. I'm thinking of changing the sash on carvana to a leichi berry and have him learn endure. Any suggestions would be great. I also think that I need some special attackers other than Clampearl. If I keep going, I'm going to have put it in the RMT section
wraith89 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Wow. You know Garchomp's even banned from here. But why would he use Dragon Pulse? The only special attacking viable set (ChainChomp) uses Draco Meteor instead. Strange :-/ Anyhow, that was fun and I'm glad to have seen it

Illithian Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Shuppet must have excellent special defense to take on a chompah's Dragon Pulse. Yes, draco meteor is better, but Dragon Pulse isn't to be smirked at. I'm quite impressed at the taillow. 313 attack (guts included) isn't bad considering a 140 BP STAB Facade... Baby teams rely heavily on suicides, and yours exemplifies this. Excellent job

Taillow is just a watered down swellow. He's jolly as he only has 85 base spd but was still able to considerable amounts of damage.
wraith89 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I've seen Spinarak survive Salamence's Dragon Claw (dunno what EV it had though). You're already UU king and you're trying to be NFE king? Oh boy... you really love TR, don't you :-/ I just remembered that first time you used a TR Solrock with Clamperl... and almost got swept had it not been for Hypno You have to do more of this
FLOOTENKERP Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Wow... I didn't know baby Pokémon could do that...

Though any taunter would shut my team down. As for the NFE king. I don't thinks so, mixing in something interesting now and then makes it a little more exciting. And your proclaiming me as the UU king when I haven't even beaten you in UU. ---------- Post added at 07:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:05 AM ---------- Wow, and i thought babies sucked Never underestimate the power of babies! @Flootenkerp ------^
FLOOTENKERP Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I guess I shouldn't believe your signature. "I play for fun, not competitivly. I use pokemon that I like to use but I try to follow tiers. (UU and below)" that seems like competitive battling to me. Good job beating him with babies though, but isn't destiny bond illegal in a normal battle? Or did you set your own rules?

This team isn't competitive, It's just for fun. Not all for fun team's have to be novelty. These babies can stand up to OU's which was an unexpected result. I've never known Destiny bond to be illegal. 0_o I've met a couple of other people w/ destiny bond so I don't know >.>
bear831 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Wow nice team, I liked how you destroyed Garchomp. I may try a baby team now after seeing this!

He does play for fun :-/ We always play for fun, Para and I always play novelty or UU or NFE against OUs... it doesn't always work out, but it's still fun. And no, Destiny Bond isn't banned :-/
Greencat Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Mhh, that was pretty good! I like the Trick Room idea. You can also try Trapinch, which gets like 330s Attack with Crunch and Earthquake.
wraith89 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Trapinch is a great revenge killer with Arena Trap. Fun fact: Trapinch has the same attack power as Flygon, his final form You should try Magnemite and Krabby. Magnemite has the same special attack as Kingdra and Krabby has the same attack power as Feraligatr!
Illithian Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Random fun facts about NFE's: Onyx has as much defense as Deoxys-D. Gastly has the same special attack as Starmie and Dragonite. Munchlax is the slowest pokemon in the game, with a maximum speed stat of 119 with a beneficial nature; however, his HP stat is higher then every OU except for Blissey and Snorlax, and his attack stat is higher then Dugtrio. Elekid with a beneficial nature will outspeed all Rotom forms. Tangela with Chlorophyll reaches 480 speed in the sun, allowing it to outspeed most OUs, and with a respectable SpA of 100 and a quite usable defense of 115, Tangela can easily come in on one of his resistances.
ParaDoX65 Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 Mhh, that was pretty good! I like the Trick Room idea. You can also try Trapinch, which gets like 330s Attack with Crunch and Earthquake. TY, Trick room is one of my favorite moves. I was thinking about adding it, But Cubone has more attack w/ thick club and has a deeper move pool. But who knows, He might be added sooner or later. ---------- Post added at 06:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:55 PM ---------- Trapinch is a great revenge killer with Arena Trap.Fun fact: Trapinch has the same attack power as Flygon, his final form You should try Magnemite and Krabby. Magnemite has the same special attack as Kingdra and Krabby has the same attack power as Feraligatr! There are so many options! I can't wait to try them all. I remember that you commented on my new Abra and how It goes against TR. I usually follow a format. 2 TR suiciders, 2 TR sweepers, and 2 other pokemon that can work well on their own without TR. With this format I've had a lot of success. I'm pretty sure there is some flaw but W/ NFE's this is the best stratagy I've found.
wraith89 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I really think Magnemite will go well with your TR room Para... notably because it's slow, has many resistances (although it has common weaknesses) and is pretty powerful.
Illithian Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I really think Magnemite will go well with your TR room Para... notably because it's slow, has many resistances (although it has common weaknesses) and is pretty powerful. What about Munchlax?
ParaDoX65 Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 What about Munchlax? He could work. I might try him with a cursing set. He can get off curses in TR and then proceed to sweep or sleep There are so many ways to use NFE's. I now have a reversaling meditite in this team.
Godzilla231 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Ah. That's a weird team, but it did get the job done in taking down Anonymous' team. Nice job.
