Aarux Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Hey, that's pretty cool. I like how the sprites are lined up... you can compare how many Pokemon are in each region.
Mewtwo Ex Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Excellent work! It's really impressive how much you have don to accomplish this.
lugialucario Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Congratulations, it's a very good work! It's fun to know the differents descriptions of differents languages of Pokedex and it's very complete
Gallade Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 wow, nice work everyone. It really looks impressive.. I'm only missing the dutch version.. I can help with translating??!! G.
punky Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 What beautiful work! You have to work like crazy to get this result!
Lugiamaster Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Now this is what I call a pokedex Let me add some more greatness to this Once the egg moves and tutor moves are finished, this pokedex will be better than serebii's Also, it says the translation will be done by the time platinum hits the UK, which means it will be done this friday
Poryhack Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Specifically, the translations will be done when platinum hits the UK. SCV extracts all the data for the pokedexes directly from the game to save time and ensure that our data is error-free.

Its so stupid, if you ask me, they might as well not bother releasing platinum in the uk as all of my pkm friends have had it imported over from the US Company's like Game and gamestation lose so much money because of it so they may as well not bother

wraith89 Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 You'd be a great help for the Korean dex. Since I don't own a Korean version, you might as well help
SCV Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) Assistance for the Korean version would be greatly appreciated. If you come on IRC we can talk about what you can help with. Otherwise I will PM you later. Edited May 22, 2009 by fenzo666
Mewtwo Ex Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Wonderful work completing it fully. With platinum and all.:kikkoman:

What gets me, why do they waste time changing them over from NTSC to PAL? It dosen't change anything Game might as well just import them over themselfs

It dosen't change anythingGame might as well just import them over themselfs NTSC and PAL are standards for TVs... They don't apply to DS or other handheld games, only console. I'm not sure what the localization procedure includes though... It does seem a bit odd to wait so long for essentialy the same product.

Oh, if they don't change it from NTSC to PAL, then what do they change?
