mewmart Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Hi guys, my question is as above, pertaining to Pokesav Platinum. I sorta need to figure out what does Type 1, 2, and the rest stand for so that legit event pokemon or caught pokemon can be created. Thanks in advance.
latias1001 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Based on what I know, there are no single PID types. The PID is just mixed values which idividually, may have types. Maybe this is what you wanted: Save Slot? That doesn't have to do with making a pokemon legal.(Unless someone is reading the "journal" part of your bag and sees that it never says you got a pokemon that you have) --------------------------------------------------------- Class? Classes are a pokemon's ability. Depending on what ability you choose, you have to have a class to match it. --------------------------------------------------------- Trainer type in PPTE? (even though you said Pokesav Platinum) Can't help you with PPTE. If none of these values helped, this site might have what you're looking for: http://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/pid_iv_creation
mewmart Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Oh it's ok. I actually wanted information on the classification of the PID types, as in Type 1 stands for Normal NDS/GBA or Type 2 stands for Uncommon NDS/GBA and etc. Anyway thanks! =)
Greencat Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 PID is the combonation of IV/Nature values. They both corospond to make up the PID. You can enter the PID and the PID will have the info of the IV and Nature. Now if you're trying to find out the algorithm for an Event, choose "NDS or GBA Event".
mewmart Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Oh okay. Thanks! By the way, how do we insert spoilers in our signatures? =P
Greencat Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 No problem. To insert a Spoiler (which you already done):
wraith89 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 http://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/pid_iv_creation Have fun. Class numbers are in the middle of this article.
