Destati Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Why did they flip the island of Kyushu sideways to make Hoenn? If Hoenn was accurate with the map of Japan the in-game west would really be north.

I don't know if anyone can answer this question. One come's to mind actually... Nintendo does thing's without thinking sometimes, of course there is probably a smart explanation. I guess they hoped that no one noticed it. Too bad i also, accidentally found it when i was looking at Japan. ''It's Hoenn upside down!''
Neo Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Because if it wasn't flipped it wouldn't fit the GBA Screen Dimensions
Guested Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 To fit the GBA widescreen dimensions. Because if it wasn't flipped it wouldn't fit the GBA Screen Dimensions Wow... ;>_> Did you read the rest of the thread before posting?
FLOOTENKERP Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I never thought of that... Why is it flipped? Was it to fit the GBA screen like you guys said? Because flipping it around will still make it the same size.
