For the Manaphy can be shiny legally obtaining egg must be "trade link (number 2002 in Pokesav)".

yeah, except we don't care about how to hack it to be shiny.

Just a friendly tip, don't talk about things you have no idea about.

excuse me?

Manaphy --> Receive from Pokémart dude.

Shinyness --> Based on PID/SID/ID combination.

If Manaphy == Would be shiny on the save you receive the egg on --> Game re-assigns a new PID until a non-shiny one is chosen.

However!

If Manaphy Egg == Traded to another game after receiving from Pokémart dude

Manaphy Egg PID --> Might be a shiny PID for the receiver's ID/SID combination --> Manaphy would hatch shiny on that save file.

See where I'm going with this?

Having a shiny Manaphy with location: "Link Trade" is the only way a shiny Manaphy can legitimately be shiny.

This thread is about Pokécheck's legal checker.

In which case, it is perfectly relevant to point out what locations are possible for a legal shiny Manaphy, so that PokéCheck's legality checker could be updated to reflect that information (Even though I'm quite certain it already was anyway.)

Thank you, come again.

It's not a "how to fix a hack" thread though ;)

I would like to say something, is explained in the image:

http://www.mediafire.com/view/?

These are events that I get hacked when legally can have data without any external manipulation:

If nobody believes me, you try someone around here that inspires more confidence (I can not think of anything more to prove I'm not lying).

Those Wonder Cards have not been added to the site for checking yet. All moves still are plausible with "Event only" and the FE flag is admissible with reference to the Wonder card itself, so once the cards are added to the db they should pass.

http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=2110723 Used an Adamant Synchronizer, got this message in the LA.

► Locations Valid encounter (esv=7, slot 9, Thursday bug catching contest).

Requires non-adamant synchronizer.

Minor, but still an error.

EDIT: Talking to some people on IRC reminded me of some Great Marsh/Safari Zone errors from when the "Features & news" mentioned Safari Zone encounters were not fully supported.

http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1034688 Marill is both a Normal and Binocular Pokemon, LA is treating it as only occupying Normal slots.

http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1005230 http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=2114371 LA doesn't seem to recognze Platinum Binocular Pokemon at all, Kecleon was caught with a failed CC lead and Kangaskhan was with a Pressure lead.

http://www.pokecheck.org/?p=detail&uid=1824366 Valid encounter, placing Blocks can shift encounter slots around for Block Pokemon.

there's no way to differentiate how a move that's both an egg move and tutor was learned, and either way, it simply doesn't matter. Regardless of how the move was obtained on the Pokémon, it's a legitimate move for it to know, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.

For some reason my Dragonite (that I caught as a Dratini) say they were caught in a fishing spot, when they weren't.

Fishing Spot:

Dragonspiral Tower	Dratini	35-60	Basculin Red	35-60	Dragonair	35-70	Dragonair	45-70	Dragonite	50-70

Remember, Pokecheck only checks for legality thus a valid encounter is all it checks for. There's no way for it to know that you didn't catch it at a fishing spot.

yeah, that's what Voodoo said as well. I was just curious about it, that's all.

This is not a thread on how to make your Pokemon pass. Please re-read the first post.

what i meant was that despite of the fact that the pokemon is supposed to be legit, it's not because of the location. Now what i asked for was not to make it right but to know how come the location keeps showing" unknown location" even though i put "poketransfer" in location boxe.

ps im not english, that's why there has been such a misunderstading

thanks in advance

You can't hack a Pokemon to be legit. The reason it shows unknown encounter is because you did a crappy job hacking it. End of story.
