truejeff
Hi, I intended to setup a gts distribution server using shinyGTS for others to download my pokemon. However i've check with my isp and it seem like port 80 is blocked by them? Is there any ways I can setup the distribution in my situation. Much help appreciated!! Kaphotics
Nope, no way to set up a distribution. Only way is if your ISP unblocks it, which (seems like it) isn't happening.
formlesstree4
Some ISP's will unblock Port 80 for you if you do contact them. I know mine did.

formlesstree4
hmm.. what reason did you give your isp for them to unblock it? I was using a program that required it to be unblocked.
wikid
I use no-ip and it has a port 80 forwarding, it still doesn't allow me to use shiny dts for some reason, but irgts works now.
truejeff
Thanks formlessthee, i'll try calling up. @wikid: i tried using no-ip port 80 redirect.. don't seems to work.. i guess it redirect the packets directed at port 80 to another port i.e 8080.. but shinygts is still listening to port 80 and not port 8080 therefore it does not work. Somehow i need to either set shinygts to listen to the new redirected port or call my isp. Alternatively, i'll like to ask is there a way to set up distribution on a webserver (like how a website is host)? If yes, can someone guide me on how to set one up? Do i upload the program onto the webhost or do i need to write a script or something to execute it? sorry, i'm a noob at web stuff.
