I have tried the code and it does not work perfectly; after i get the x559 1st items, i thrash the desire amount... when i look at the TMs #44 it shows the normal TM#44 "an electric attack with 100/100" what do you think is the problem I have look for this code desperately and cant find one that works Can you help me out here, I am really tire of looking around, thanks for sharing.

Try pressing the Select button after trashing the desired amount Oh and remember it's 559 - the move code you want = amount you trash. For instance 559 - Crunch (=242) = 317 to trash. Hope it helps, worked like a charm for me.

Update your firmware to either 1.71 or 1.25 (depending on if you have a AR DS or AR DSi)

Well, its the ACTUAL ID of your game...meaning how it knows if your pokemon is traded or not. Personally, I do not like the feel of traded pokemon (the experience boosts seems really cheap to me). I would personally like these codes, so the pokemon that I actually do trade over from my Gen IV games will behave as they did in their native games. I plan to mimic my Soul Silver secret and normal ID to do this. I dunno....it'll just feel more like I'm using MY own pokemon.

I guess its due to new formating stardards of games. Its the same reason you have to periodically update PS3, XBOX 360, and Wii firmware

Oh and another thing...if you are upgrading to AR DS Firmware 1.71, make sure the GBA slot of the DS/DS Lite is empty when installing it. If you don't, you'll get an error message.
