GumbyX Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I'm trying to find out if there are any unlisted hex offsets in PokeSav for multiplayer avatars. IE is it possible to use an in-game sprite that the game would not normally allow (gym leader, etc)? I know there are some unlisted offsets for a Pokemon's "Met at Place" field like the Ruins of Alpha.
GumbyX Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 No one has any idea if this is possible? Not a one?
Kaphotics Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 those are probably the only multiplayer avatars I'll go out on a limb and say the rest aren't in the wifi section for sprites.
GumbyX Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 So you can't "force" a sprite to work? I know you can hack sprite with AR codes. They might not work properly in game (no walking animation), but you can still do it.
codemonkey85 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 The multiplayer avatars available are indexed very specifically in the game's code. I'm pretty sure only the sprites you've seen are indexed though... the other sprites are probably not referenced at all for multiplayer avatar stuff. So in short, what you see is what you get.
