Splittah Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) I will say this but nothing more: If you're going to use Bronzong as a lead, make sure you know how to use him. Half the time I didn't use him properly and I got thrashed. It takes skill to use, but it is a GREAT lead. You have two... three options! Option 1: Learn off someone how to use Bronzong effectively as a lead or research it. Option 2: Change your lead. I ended up changing hm as a lead because I needed to have stuff like Stealth Rock and Spikes set up to benefit the team as a whole. Option 3: Ignore this post completely and get some advice from people who have been battling competitively longer than I have. E.G. Tbird or Wraith. Edited November 30, 2010 by Splittah
Gin Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 I'm just wondering, but is this a gen 5 team? or Gen 4?
randomspot555 Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Stealth Rock, the most common move in the 4th gen game, basically destroys half your team.
Tbird Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 I'll do a quick rate. If you want me to expand a bit later on I will at request . I would say put Scarf flygon in place of Gliscor. Gyarados can function as a great stand alone physical sweeper. Flygon being a ground type can switch in on starmie's Tbolt, and flygon can Hurt the hell out of it with U-turn or scout for the switch in. Turn gengar in to either a protect or sub set and watch him kill Ttar, scizor and other assorted annoyances. Put heatran in place of Charizard, Flygon OR gyara can take the earth attacks aimed at him. Opposing scargon firing off EQ will be set up bait for your gyara, whilst other EQ/EP users will more times than not be scared off by gyara OR get hurt by flygon. Get rid of the Bronzong lead and go for something that can get rocks up fast, it looks like your going for a strong offensive team so someone like aerodactyl or azelf would work really well. staraptors place can be taken by forrestress, drawing in fire attacks for heatran whilst spinning away the rocks for gyarados. I may look over this again later, but that's my initial thoughts.
thisizsteve Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 Nice thanks TBird and Codr and all of you I will take it all under strong consideration!
