Fallen Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Out of the three Super Smash Bros. which is you favorite?
wraith89 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Melee... Brawl took away so many things that was good in Melee. However, Brawl's good for the additional things it adds.
Phreen Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Brawl, better graphics, better items, more pokemon, smash ball's, more characters, more maps, customizable maps, Wi-Fi, you don't fall as fast, and better single player with more unlockable trophies.
Fallen Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 Well Brawl is obviously going to have better graphics seeing as it's on a newer system. If Melee had all Brawl has, minus characters, I believe Melee would be the best.
Fallen Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 Better from a characters stand point. Plus there is a bit of nostalgia there for me.
HottSushiz Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Hmm, don't know, i don't favor any, I'm neutral towards all decisions, but i do like the Smash Ball.

wraith89 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Melee took more skill to play then Brawl does... Brawl is a little dumbed down. But still, I like those new characters... but they took out Roy and Mewtwo!

But still, I like those new characters... but they took out Roy and Mewtwo! Yeah, I really liked using roy and mewtwo, but isnt he like lucario, and why is lucario so light if he's steel type, and how does melee take more skill
wraith89 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Lucario is light because... he's light! (no pun intended) And Lucario does NOT play like Mewtwo! That's like saying Samus plays like Mewtwo because of her B attack. The truth is, Zelda plays like Mewtwo in both Melee and Brawl... even if her B moves are different. That's how I got used to Zelda so quickly in Brawl... because she played almost a LOT like Mewtwo.
Phreen Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Well what about lucario's A attacks, when they hit you your all blue like as mewtwo hits exept your purple
wraith89 Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Other than Forward A... nothing else is really all that similar. He LOOKS like he replaces Mewtwo but he doesn't.

I was playing with mewtwo and I was like wow, wraith89 was right after all.
Phreen Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Well, my memory is kind of fuzzy since I haven't played melee in about 2 years
Fallen Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 You have to play it again. It's an amazing game, not to say the others aren't.
Silent Storm Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Brawl because it has been hacked to death (Brawl+, character textures, music hacks etc).
Phreen Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 You have to play it again. It's an amazing game, not to say the others aren't. I'll look into that, sadly the game that started it all hasn't even had one vote
Fallen Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 A lot of people are younger on here so they probably never had the chance to really enjoy it.
Phreen Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 A lot of people are younger on here so they probably never had the chance to really enjoy it. I would be playing those two games (melee and ssb), but if the graphics are what I'm not used to, then I get bored really quickly, yesterday I started playing my emerald, but I just didn't like the graphics and I put it down after one battle.
Ziz Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Brawl and Melee tie in my mind. Melee had spikes, and Brawl can Air Dodge without going blinky. I favor Brawl mostly because I've only played Melee a few times, but I love playing on the melee stages.
Midnight Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Strike me silly, but I actually like SSB64 the most. Although there wasn't much of a selection, SSB64 just... appeals to me the most. I dunno why.
pokemonfan Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Odd midnight, anyway I'm starting to change my mind. Melee is tugging at me because I love mewtwo! Although it doesn't seem like he has a high ranking he really is a good player.
Okami Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I learned how to Smash in Melee, so it's my fave as far as that goes. However, give me the Ball in Brawl and you're all going down. Heckyess Pikachu!
