StalaK Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 I can't seem to find a solution to this so far so I'm hoping someone here will be able to help. Basically I have an official Soul Silver game cartridge and an adaptor which I can use to dump save files from the cartridge and then write them back onto the cartridge. This all works perfect when it comes to editing Platinum saves, but I have a problem for when it comes to Soul Silver saves. When I dump the SS save it creates a 1024kb save file which doesn't load in Pokesav. I've tried using the online save converter and tried different settings and it still doesn't work. Though there's a chance that I'm not doing it correctly. Has anyone else had this problem and found a way around it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was hoping that this wouldn't be the case but it's starting to look more and more like it is. I'll just trade between SS and Platinum. Thanks for the help guys. Bond697 Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 if you're thinking about buying a new one, you might want to wait. the sms4 should be out soon and it has more functionality than the nds adaptor+. it's more expensive, but can dump all different saves, games, whatever.
