Look at BDSP/PLA entries, is there a shiny one there? If there is one with a tracker, just use a bot to inject that.

Also make sure you’re not using a bot that wipes HOME trackers.

all of the shiny manaphy files I've found here will give me an error when moving to home. But I've used other files with no issue so I know that the bots not removing them.

my problem is, When i import pokemon into Home i want it to be from the origin game so it checks off on the Home pokedex for that game.

e.g Fletchling in the pokemon scarlet save is from Sword etc

yeah nah that's a lot of pokemon. I'll get to doing it eventually but don't expect it.

you should chat with the person that makes the ALM mod their living dex creater is mostly up to date or at least usable to m,ove pokemon into home. thats what i ended up doing

I know them but that is not relevant as it isn’t my goal tho; my goal isn’t generated mons, but captured mons. If it is using ALM to generate legal mons then place into HOME, then anyone can do it

I might make a game specific living dex eventually, since I’ll need it for HOME too, but no guarantees.

I have a question regarding the BDSP origin files, as it seems that many of the Pokemon do not have HOME trackers (or at least that is what pkhex states). I just wanted to clarify whether this is the case because my plan is to inject all compatible SP-exclusive Pokemon into a SWSH save I have running on an emulator, trade over LAN to my copy of Shield on my OFW physical switch, and upload them to HOME from there (only SWSH has trade over LAN). I confirmed this process works with the SP-origin Palkia in the file, though pkhex indicates that the Palkia does have a HOME tracker (while indicating that Pokemon like Bastiodon and Mismagius do not). Based on my understanding of how HOME trackers work, the other SP-exclusive Pokemon would be illegal if uploaded to HOME thru SWSH. Though, I very well might be missing something as I am relatively new to Switch-era hacking, and your post does say that all Pokemon in these files should be HOME-compatible regardless of which game they are inserted into.

Which files, was this after any kind of import into your own save or something? I moved all of them in and out of HOME so they should have trackers, but I might have messed up, let me know which ones. I’m currently away from my computer for a bit so can’t check nor fix it at the moment.

Yes, BDSP origin (caught/bred/gifted) mons first entry into HOME needs to be from BDSP, you’re correct.

Ah, IIRC I’ve had to hatch those. I probably forgot to put those in HOME. Gotta wait for me to fix them then my bad.

you could take the PLA ones, place into HOME from Switch, then breed them, if you urgently need them.

No, it was just in pkhex. Though, pkhex is now showing HOME trackers on them, so I really am not sure what I was doing wrong. I may have imported the PC binary incorrectly or something.

I am completely fine to do it if this is the only method but I wanted to ask to make sure for all the Switch games ones, once I get all the pokemon do I need to trade to another game to send them to home?

If I’m not mistaken, once you’ve placed them unmodified into the Switch games (regardless of which game you choose), you should be able to directly transfer into HOME, as these already have associated trackers.

I intend to do it for LGPE and SWSH, but it is going to take some time before I get around to uploading complete sets for them.

Sorry, i dont know where to ask, i just made an account to ask, but whenever i open a folder in pkhex it just says "No files loaded" 
Im using a pokemon Y cartridge to do this, Its up until the 2nd gym and no illegal pkm are in the file, I downloaded all of the correct files, and when i do load boxes and try gen 3 for example thats all i get. Im using the newest version of pkhex too. I tried using a save file from ORAS and keep getting the same message. I tried the shiny and non shiny pre home files and none work. please help me out im really lost here.

EDIT: i also tried a Ultra Sun save file and it wipes all my boxed pokemon but i still get the same alert and gives me no pokemon

hi idk if its an error but living dex zip does not contain any shiny pokemon i searched on origin pc bins and home living dex zip just contain cross evolutions and BDSP box with non shiny pokemon, did i miss something?

EDIT: I needed to redownload the zip, for some reason the zip file was living dex 3.X.X.zip but files were from BDSP origin game hahah weird

Not an error; origins won’t have shinies attached to them cause it’s too much of a pain. Having the origin Dex filled, then the shiny filled from non-origin, should be enough.

i edit because when i download livin dex zip the files are not correct it download bdsp origin box data as living dex so i redownload and it was fixed all shiny/non shiny pokemon were there
