Key Description:

This page holds files that contains shinies, based on a game's generation.
All you gotta do is use the relevant pcdata.bin on a save of that generation.

Last Word:
Despite these Pokemon being legal, I still need to say this:
ProjectPokemon.org is not liable, if you somehow managed to get yourself banned with these Pokemon. :)

Also, don't be stupid or don't do stupid things.
I can't possibly give every directive or comment on every possibility. Be reasonable, alright :3

I have a question regarding importing the pokemon. So I have a gen 6 (Y) save file, I try to import some early gen poke like gen 1 , 2, 3, and after I open the poke file and set it, there's some missing info. I know I could filling the info, but I don't know what info is correct to be close to real legal. Is the poke file came with missing info? or is it because it's too old early gen?

Huh? Don't completely understand what you're saying.
Regarding what I understand, you're saying there's missing info? PKHeX should emulate the transfer as per the games,
and there shouldn't be any missing info at all.

In any case, do note that: you can only transfer files from gen 3 to 6 into XYORAS.

Also, more appropriate that you start a new thread, include screenshots of what you're asking for in a spoiler.

Since you said can only transfer friles from gen 3 to 6 into XYORAS, what should do to get gen 1 & 2 into XYORAS?

The Gen 3 folder will contain gen 1 & 2 species. This is because GBA games could not connect to GB/GBC games.
Thus they allowed Gen 1 and Gen 2 species to be recaught. These files are created with that limitation in mind.

I also mention that towards the end of the file description above...

Thank you so much. Appreciate it.

As I'm learning how to make most legal shiny pokemon, I have a question about gen 1 and gen 2 shiny.

From this link I learn that gen 1 & 2 shiny pokemon is determined by specific IV pattern, (https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Shiny_Pokémon)

image.png.28776107bd148cf7240f2c85c18fc799.png

but the gen 1 & 2 file we download here, shiny is not following with this method, yet the pkhex latest version still count it as legal. I'm confused.

However, I don't know if the virtual console version will have a different determination for shiny.

or you just just follow the generational graph, as per the last image in the description.

ok, this is what it looks like to me as I open the gen 1 file. Just for example,

I did not make any modification, just open as it is.

You loaded a pk1 file in a gen 7 save file. So it's now a pk7 file (in the gen 7 save).

Poketransporter changes the IVs when it's imported up. This is a simulation of that procedure.

Yeah i forgot to edit my post i ended up figuring it out and just did gen 3-7 files because for some readcomicsonline gen 1-2 files showed them as not legal

Hi, I've got a question about that brilliant flowchart of which games can transfer to which - could you update it to show how items can be transferred?

Also, I think Mew can be shiny - if it is e.g. a shiny JP Faraway Island Mew in Gen 3 and was transferred up through the chart to Sw/Sh? Unless Shiny Mew gets blocked for whatever reason 😒

Thanks

No, as most generations don't transfer Items.
If I'm not mistaken, only Gen 3 -> Gen 4 transfer items. It would be annoying to indicate (no item transfer) for every other transfer.

Yeah, I'm aware of the shiny Mew. That part of the text was before HOME was available. I'll change that now.

As I recall, the transfer chain for items is Gen 3 -> Gen 4 -> Gen 5, and then Poké Transporter removes all items, but I could be wrong. I'd have to look it up 🤔

But you're right anyway, it would look quite cluttered.

Not that it is an excellent source, but it jives with my recent experience (like 2 weeks ago)

Seems like Pokemon Home is giving shiny(?) Magearna, as a gift when you complete 890 full pokedex at there. I don't know this is a new form or a kind of shiny. Perhaps we may need to include Pokemon Home gift distribution later..

a) it’s not shiny, it’s just a different form

b) it’s a gen 8 distribution

c) Magearna does not exist in SWSH

Thus, no point putting such a file into any collection, when the user can’t place the mon into any save.

Is there any reason that the shiny event Zeraora isn't included?

wait. It's already there, in the gen 8 folder.

The listing of "gens" is based on released gen. (all the files match the generation file type they're in. For example, pk8 for gen 😎
So Zeraora was released Shiny only in Gen 8.

Oh thanks. I realise that I mixed up the excluded and special mentions columns.
