  2. WC7: Beta 12 Bottle Caps

This file was hosted on Mystery Gift Servers of Pokemon Sun and Moon, however was ultimately not released for download.
It is speculated that the purpose of this wonder card was simply to test if the serial code service is functioning properly.

Only the English version was uploaded for the testing.

  3. PK4: Diamond/Pearl Kiosk Demo Partner Pokemon

A Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Demo exists, where it allowed players to bring their Nintendo DS to Kiosks,
to temporarily download the game via Download Play, and have a trail run.
Players randomly start as either the male or female playable characters and Diamond Version or Pearl Version.

It is normally not possible to save in the demo, but if one manages to hack force their way to a place that forces saving, it'll cause an error.

Thanks to @BlackShark's help, these Pokemon were located and extracted from the RAM.

  4. PK4: Proto Japanese DP (Aug 2006 Build) Debug Pokémon

In June 2019, a Japanese copy of a Debugging variant of Pokémon Diamond Version was found and subsequently dumped.
In May 2020, the source code for Diamond and Pearl was found, and the game could be compiled, with the debug features intact.

This post relates to the 2019 leak.
    Debug start
Debug menu on Title Screen (Select) > Debug Start
The player will start the game in Jubilife City, with 3 starters, being Infernape, Piplup and Finneon.

    Pal Park Entry 1
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tamada > Pokepark Data 1
This first set has Charizard, Squirtle, Wartortle, Caterpie, Sandshrew, and Tentacool.
Given these entries have a Set PID of 0, they cannot be shiny.
    Pal Park Entry 2
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tamada > Pokepark Data 2
This second set has Bulbasaur, Beedrill, Clefairy, Sandshrew, Tauros, and Dragonair.
Given these entries have a Set PID of 0, they cannot be shiny.
    Box of Slowpoke
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Taya > Current Full
This debug option fills the current box to the brim with Slowpoke, all clones.
Since the TID and SID is set to 0, they cannot be shiny.

    Box of Slowbro
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Taya > Box Full
This box is full of Slowbro. There's 540 different Slowbro. Their PIDs are set, so they can't be shiny.

    Test Burmy
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Tomoya > Test
3 Burmy added to party. Their PIDs are set, so they can't be shiny.

    Roaming Darkrai
As previously reported, a Roaming Darkrai subroutine was found in the final build of the games.
With the debug version of the game, one is capable of encountering it.
    Debug menu in-game (R + Start) > Saito > Roaming Pokémon > Location Change > Dark
In the debug menu, Darkrai uses the beta name Dark.

As usual, these files would be illegal and should not be transferred. Use at your own risk.
[We will not distribute the Debug ROM, and it is against our rules to ask for it]

Thanks to @BlackShark for the dump and @jojo12100 for the heads up, in regards to Slowpoke, Slowbro and Burmy.

  5. PGT: DP Debug Wonder Cards

    Diamond and Pearl Debug
In June 2019, a Japanese copy of a Debugging variant of Pokémon Diamond Version was found and subsequently dumped.
In May 2020, the source code for Diamond and Pearl was found, and the game could be compiled, with the debug features intact.

Steps to receive in debug game:
    Debug Menu via R + Start (in-game) > Oono > Delivery Debug
This causes the gifts to appear in the save. While these were extracted from the debug versions of Diamond and Pearl, it should theoretically work for Platinum.

Do note that Gift 4 and 5 are notorious for crashing the game when received, and appears to be trash data.
They are included here purely for archival purposes.

    Platinum Debug
It appears that the same function that gives debug cards in DP debug, is in Platinum debug, but doesn't do anything.

As usual, these files would be illegal and should not be transferred. Use at your own risk.
[We will not distribute the Debug ROM, and it is against our rules to ask for it]

  6. PK7: Demo - Totems and other unobtainable Pokemon

Throughout the gameplay of the Pokemon Sun & Moon - Demo Version,
there have been many encounters with Pokemon that cannot be captured or transferred,
due to various reasons set up by the developers by various story elements.

As these Pokemon are uncatchables, they were obtained by extraction from RAM dumps.
(For Kukui's Pikachu, it's obtained by having it "transferred to nature" which actually goes to PC, then extracted using PKHeX)

This page features the following Pokemon Sets:
Kukui's Trial: VS Totem Hakamo-o Ash's Greninja Pikachu Loaned from Professor Kukui Various Wild Encounters
      In case it isn't obvious,
NONE OF THESE ARE LEGAL POKEMON.

  10. PK3: Battle Frontier Uncatchable Pokemon

Pokemon Emerald introduced an array of post-game battle facilities, which is hosted on the island called Battle Frontier.
Besides roping in the existing Battle Tower from Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire, the newer facilities hosts various challenges and rules,
unique to their own facility and differentiates them from the traditional Battle Tower (and each other).

In 2 of the facilities, namely Battle Pike and Battle Pyramid, it is possible to encounter wild Pokemon, and none of these can be captured.
(and to totally break you, these Pokemon can be shiny. *sad* )

@jojo12100 grabbed all these Pokemon straight from the RAM, and used @BlackShark's tool to decrypt said Pokemon.

  11. GP1: Fake and unreleased Go Park Complex Mew

The author usually doesn't indulge in making fakes, but just for this time round, the author made a few edits to the a GP1 of Jigglypuff to showcase a few presently (as of 2021) unreleased details:
    1. Mew from Pokémon GO in Go Park Complex in Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee
    2. Shiny Mew from Pokémon GO in Go Park Complex in Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee

When GO to HOME compatibility dropped, it was immediately noticed that Mew could be sent to HOME using this method.
However, GO did not lift the restriction of Mew entering LGPE.
Given that months has passed since the compatibility dropped, and GO never did lift the restriction,
it implies that GO may never allow Mew to be transferred to LGPE.

It is to note that the Mew received via this method will be illegal, even when transferred up.

As an aside, there is no legal way to catch Mew in LGPE.
The only way to obtain a Mew legitimately, is either via purchase of the Poké Ball Plus, or via trade (with someone that has a Mew).

  12. PK2: Unobtainable Egg Moves Pokemon

Programmed into Pokemon Gold & Silver, are 3 Pokemon that have Eggs moves, that are normally inaccessible to them.
Back in Generation 2, Egg Mechanics dictates that Pokemon can only learn moves from their fathers.
Below is the breakdown of the Pokemon that have inaccessible egg moves.

    Pokemon Moves Explanation Oddish
      Charm
No Pokemon in the Grass Egg Group can legitimately learn Charm,
hence no legitimate father to pass down the move. Smoochum
      Lovely Kiss
Only Pokemon in the Human-Like Egg Group that learns Lovely Kiss is Jynx (100% Female Pokemon),
hence no legitimate father to pass down the move. Staryu

      Aurora Beam
    Attract
    Barrier
Supersonic Being Genderless species, it can only breed with Ditto (which normally only knows Transform),
hence no legitimate father to pass down the moves.

    Snorlax
      Charm
No Pokemon in the Monster Egg Group can legitimately learn Charm,
hence no legitimate father to pass down the move. Bulbasaur
      Charm
No Pokemon in the Grass or Monster Egg Groups can legitimately learn Charm,
hence no legitimate father to pass down the move.
These impossible moves would later be removed from Pokemon Crystal.

These are all obtained by getting Ditto to learn the move, then to pass it down, all thanks to @jojo12100.

  13. PKX: Uncatchable Ghost Marowak

player's encounter a literal Ghost, the undead spirit of a Marowak, that was killed by Team Rocket as it tries to protect it's young Cubone,
and serves as an obstacle, stopping you from reaching Mr. Fuji at the top of the Lavender Tower, if you did not have the Silph Scope to unmask it's identity.
(yet oddly allowed Team Rocket Grunts to climb up there to stop you and hold Mr. Fuji hostage)

  15. PK6: Unobtainable Shiny Cosplay Pikachu

In Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, players will receive a Cosplay Pikachu, after taking part in a Pokemon Contest Spectacular.
The Cosplay Pikachu comes with it's Hidden Ability Lightning Rod, and an exclusive move that changes with the costume.
Cosplay Pikachu normally cannot be obtained shiny in-game.

Through the power of hacking, theSLAYER obtained a few Cosplay Pikachu that are different from normal.
    1. Shininess + Hidden Ability (Lightning Rod)
    2. Shininess + Ability Slot 1 (Static)
[these were obtained by changing TID/SID of the Pokemon, to make it shiny. Also, ability changed for non-HA versions]

It's normally impossible to obtain more than one Cosplay Pikachu, and like Spiky-Eared Pikachu,
it cannot be traded (or deposited into Pokemon Bank), and cannot be transferred to future generations.

Pokémon Sun & Moon introduced a variant Pikachu that wear's Ash's Hat (Cap Pikachu) AND
Let's Go Pikachu introduced a variant that is your buddy (Partner Pikachu),
and it's interesting to note they removed shiny coloration for the alternate model that fills the shiny slot,
meaning that Cosplay Pikachu may be the last Pikachu Variant that have Shiny Models, even when shiny locked.

  16. PK5: Unobtainable Ghetsis's Kyurem

Pokemon Black & White introduced a pair of main title games,
where the player could not catch the box mascot Legendary until past the first Elite Four challenge,
and Pokemon Black 2 & White 2 took that idea to a whole new level.

Featured on the boxes of Pokemon Black 2 & White 2, is the same Pokemon, but in 2 different formes: Black Kyurem and White Kyurem.
Their introduction may not have been the first canonical Pokemon fusion (slowpokeXshellder anyone?),
but it certainly was the first for Legendary Pokemon, and they were uncatchable in that state. (normally)

The antagonist that continued to plague Unova, Ghetsis, stole the DNA Splicers,
tricked his foster son N to appear with the legendary Pokemon of Unova,
AND managed to steal N's Pokemon ZekromB2/ReshiramW2 and got Kyurem to fuse together with it.
(the cutscene looked like a dog toying with it's prey, but I digress)

This page hosts the Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, stolen from Ghetsis (karma, lol), by @jojo12100
    If you didn't have a Fused Kyurem, these cannot be un-fused;
The separation depends on the the state of the DNA Splicers - which there's 2, hence why it can have different description.
Also depends if there is anything in the Kyurem Fused Slot in your save. (that's how they retain the Zekrom/Reshiram used for fusion)
As per any Black Kyurem/White Kyurem, it cannot be traded, and cannot be transferred to later generations, when it is in the fused state.

  17. WC4: Debug Wailord Test Wonder Card

It's not known what's the purpose of this test card (or having so many test cards, for that matter),
but it's been identified that it has the same distribution text as this test Azure Flute card discovered earlier.
This Wailord is holding a Master Ball, and it's OT is テストポケ, which is translated to Test Poke.

  23. ECT: Debug Pokemon Ruby Version - Debug E-reader Trainer

Out there in the wild, exists a German Language Debugger's/Developer's Edition of Pokemon Ruby Version,
which contains many debugging tools, including Mystery Event distribution subroutines.
Working on the data first documented by The Cutting Room Floor and GlitchCity Forums,
the E-card Trainer was finally extracted by @jojo12100 using @suloku's tool.

There are e-Reader cards that allow you to challenge trainers in the old man's house in Mossdeep City,
and the trainer can be swapped out by scanning a different card.

This card data contains a trainer that is a Pokemon Ranger, with his name being "Card E" (Japanese: カードいイー),
and rather peculiarly have the names of his Pokemon being in English ("TOURNAMENT").
Note: Japanese games are hard coded to only display up to 5 Characters for Trainer and Pokemon Names,
even if the Pokemon has a longer name, as seen in the comparison below.

It's possible that this e-Card was originally Japanese in a earlier revision of the debug rom,
which was likely based on a japanese debug rom, before it was adapted for localization.
The nicknames of the Pokemon was likely changed during localization.

  24. PK7: Unreleased Zeraora and Battle Video Pokemon

A Battle Video was released to promote Zeraora, and various hackers went to dump the Battle Video, in order to extract the Zeraora.
What is interesting, is that this file has the same details as the Japanese distribution.
The other Pokemon from the Battle Video was also added to this page.
They've been leveled to Lv.100, as their level was meant to be 100, evident by the fact that they were hyper trained.
Additionally, the Battle Video has also been added to this page!
It goes into the extdata 00001B50\user\btvideo and can then be watched from the Battle Video menu.

While this file won't make your save illegal, we don't recommend using it.

  25. PK4 : Proto Japanese DP (Estimated Feb-Mar 2006 Build) Debug Pokemon

In June 2019, a Japanese copy of a Debugging variant of Pokémon Diamond Version was found and subsequently dumped.
In May 2020, the source code for Diamond and Pearl was found, and the game could be compiled, with the debug features intact.

This post relates to the early build compiled from the 2020 leak.

In the compiled version of the early build, it barely has 50 then new Pokémon developed at that time. This build is so early, that the index number for the then new Pokémon were all over the place, radically different from the final build people could purchase at retail stores.
Found in this older version of Diamond and Pearl, were some debug Pokemon (12 in box, 3 in party and a debug Bulbasaur battle routine).
However, probably because it was an early build, and it was very different from the final build, its PKM data structure turned out to be radically different.
As a result, these Pokémon needed to be reconstructed in order to be transplanted into the final build.
With that being said, this page hosts both the untouched version and the reconstructed (PKHeX compatible) version of the data.

    It is important to note that the beta sprites only applies to the beta games;
Pokémon sprites are based on the game you're playing on, not the Pokémon file you use.
As such, you will not get beta sprites to appear just by using these files.

Note: It appears not every beta Pokémon in the artwork is available in this pack.

While the battle look rather different (opponents are outlined in this build),
it is believed that the beta sprites for Munchlax and Weavile at least originated from this earlier build.
The beta sprites were seen in some of the pre-release clips.

Many thanks to @BlackShark for his hard work on data decryption and @jojo12100 for his work on PKM structure.
